Welcome to Hamilton R-2 School District

At Hamilton R-2, we are committed to providing a positive environment with a variety of challenging opportunities for preschool through post-graduate learners.

Our educators promote diverse academic, personal, and professional endeavors to prepare students to become positive productive members of an ever-changing society.

Our school district currently serves 640 students in grades preschool through 12 and employs approximately 100 staff. We maintain a 15:1 student to teacher ratio in our classrooms, and many teachers in our district hold a master’s degree or higher. Our faculty participate in yearly professional development to continuously enhance their teaching skills in order to provide the very best educational experiences for our students. From elementary to high school, students are given many opportunities to excel in academics as well as athletics and fine arts activities.

The Hamilton Community is a strong supporter of our school district, and we are fortunate for the bonds that we have developed between our schools and members of the community. The support and collaboration of the families and community members have enabled our students to feel that they have a whole team behind them as they conquer the tasks laid out before them.
